Hi, I’m Dani taylor.
A Health Coach turned Holistic Nutrition Coach that became a well-versed expert the hard way. For over 10 years ago, I was where you are. Even while working in the health and wellness industry, I struggled to break the restrict & binge diet cycles and find relief from being overweight. I constantly felt controlled by food. I was a serial Monday starter and eventually realized choosing another diet just wasn’t going to work.
After years of trial and error, I realized I was doing this sustainable weight loss thing all wrong. I divorced dieting just over 6 years ago and I’ve never felt better in my body and less obsessed with food than I am now. Through my own journey and working with hundreds of people in my last 15 years in the health and wellness industry, I’ve finally cracked the code to health and happiness without diets and deprivation.
I am a beast at helping women, like you, create personalized step-by-step action plans so you too can create a healthier relationship with food – without diets and deprivation. I’m here to help you get away from what “they” say you should do and align more with what truly supports YOU, your lifestyle, and your idea of food freedom. It’s because of my own health improvements - eliminating overeating, creating sustainable food freedom, and dropping 65 lbs in less than 6 months - that I will challenge you, stretch you, test your limits, and expose your doubts so that you can reach your next best level.
My EDucation
I began my journey into health and wellness over 17 years ago as an Athletic Training rookie. Eventually, I earned a Bachelor of Science from North Carolina Central University, where I worked with High School and Division 1 athletes across 7 sports and as a Personal Trainer for 3 years.
I earned a Master of Science from the California University of Pennsylvania before taking additional nutrition courses at Weber State University and in the Integrative and Functional Nutrition Ph.D. program at Saybrook University. I have received a Holistic Nutritionist Certification through the American Fitness Professionals Association (AFPA) and a Health Coach certification through the Integrative Institute of Nutrition.
My Approach
My philosophy toward health is simple.. Healthier eating isn’t one size fits all! The reason you haven’t been successful with any diet programs in the past is that those diets weren’t personalized to YOU, your lifestyle, or the foods you love.
